SHERGO KURDI

Shergo, Golf Saudi's youngest ambassador, began playing golf at age five at the Windlesham Golf Club, in Surrey and one of his first wins was on the Nike Rookie Tour winning an Under-12 competition.  By age 15, he was playing off scratch.

He played in the Arab Championships U15 and U18 twice and won the U15 Championship on the second occasion by 14 strokes.

Following that result he went and played in under 18 events at age 14 to gain World Amateur Golf Ranking points. He won the Under 18s Arab Championshi at just 15 years old.  Shergo has since played in global tour events such as the PIF Saudi International and Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

In 2022, Shergo has continued to make history, being the first Arab golfer to make the cut in a DP World Tour event, and also winning his first ever professional tournament on the TP Tour in England, the first Arab Golfer to do so.
