Event Information

The 2022 PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers will mark the start of an historic chapter in golf, as the prestigious event becomes sanctioned by the Asian Tour as part of a new 10-year partnership.

With one of the most dramatic finishes ever to a golf tournament, Harold Varner III claimed snatched victory by holing a monstrous putt from off the green on 18. Sparking scenes of wild celebration between Varner and his caddie, the putt was judged to perfection and rolled in like a tap-in.

Having looked to have been a battle between Harold Varner and Adri Arnaus for most of Sunday’s round, an incredible birdie-eagle finish from Bubba Watson for a final day 64 set the clubhouse total of -12. After Varner birdied 17, a birdie on 18 would have taken his close friend, Watson, to a play-off but the American had other ideas. To watch the victorious moment, click here.
