Major champion and world no.1, Lydia Ko, emerged victorious over four days of enthralling golf despite the best efforts of nearest challengers Aditi Ashok and Lilia Vu.
Ko made it career win number 26 and a second Aramco Saudi Ladies International, thanks to a steady four-under final round of 68 which gave her a 21-under total of 267, one better than Ashok and two strokes ahead of Vu.
This exciting event was introduced to the Kingdom in 2020, making it the 1st professional women’s golf event ever in Saudi Arabia. It has now helped introducing the sport to thousands of local females thanks to the Ladies First Club, which aims to provide free golf across the whole country.

A five-fold increase in the prize fund to an astounding $5m aligned the prize money with the 2023 PIF Saudi International and emphasised the ambition to attract the best golfers in the world to compete, as well as inspire a generation of golfers within the Kingdom.
The increase made the event the third most lucrative event on the Ladies European Tour and the biggest outside of the majors. Georgia Hall spoke highly of the commitment to the women’s game saying: “It shows a strong statement, and I am thankful to Majed, His Excellency and Golf Saudi for supporting the event. It's gone from strength-to-strength every year that I've been a part of it, and I look forward to playing every time.”

Since its formation in 1978, the Ladies European Tour has crowned more than 250 different winners from 28 different countries, and 700 championship trophies have been lifted.
