The Saudi Golf Company (Golf Saudi) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Arab National Bank (anb), under which the bank will support the major events and programs organized by Golf Saudi, in addition to securing a strong presence and active participation across its tournaments and developmental initiatives.
The agreement was signed at Riyadh Golf Club by Golf Saudi CEO, Mr. Noah Alireza, and anb’s Chief Retail Bank Officer, Mr. Khaled Al-Rashed, in the presence of senior executives from both sides.
This partnership represents a significant step toward reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a leading global golf destination, enhancing its attractive ecosystem, and developing its golf infrastructure according to the highest international standards. It also reflects the strengthened role of the Saudi private sector in supporting sports as an influential developmental and economic driver aligned with the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030, while affirming anb’s active contribution to supporting national strategic directions.
One of the key outcomes of this partnership was anb’s exclusive sponsorship of the Arab Golf Championship for Men & Seniors, recently concluded in Riyadh and organized by the Saudi Golf Federation under the supervision of the Arab Golf Federation. The event saw a record participation from 13 Arab countries, making it one of the most notable editions in the championship’s history. anb’s sponsorship contributed significantly to elevating the championship’s media visibility and technical delivery.
Golf Saudi CEO, Mr. Noah Alireza, emphasized that the agreement represents an important step toward building a sustainable cooperation model that supports the development of golf in the Kingdom and the region. He said: “Having a national partner of anb’s stature strengthens our efforts to grow the game and expand its base of players. It reflects the shared confidence in the future of Saudi and Arab golf.”
For his part, Mr. Khaled Al-Rashed expressed Arab National Bank’s pride in the partnership with Golf Saudi and in supporting its events and initiatives—starting with the Arab Golf Championship. He noted that this comes as part of anb’s active and vital role in social responsibility, in which sports represent a key pillar and an essential platform for inspiring younger generations, who remain at the heart of the bank’s priorities.
Al-Rashed added: “At anb, we fully recognize the growing global significance of sports as a promising investment and development avenue. We closely follow the remarkable momentum that golf is experiencing in the Kingdom and the strategic transformation aimed at positioning Saudi Arabia as a global destination for major tournaments in line with Vision 2030. We are pleased to contribute to supporting and enabling this transformation and to see the bank name proudly associated with it.”
